My mother and I moved my grandmother into the assisted living section of Spring Cypress this week. My grandmother has Alzheimer’s dementia and due to her current ability to remember she was reluctant to go. Both my mother and I thought the move would be VERY difficult but we were proved wrong. Everyone in every position at Spring Cypress went out of their way to make my grandmother feel comfortable. They are also very open to feedback and they will fix any issue that might arise immediately if you bring it to their attention. The decor throughout is beautiful. The food is gourmet and delicious. In the morning we saw an exercise class where they were using beach balls, and the next day they were stretching with bands. They even played corn hole, but had them seated. Lastly, we loved that for every meal and activity a member of the staff walks around to all the rooms to offer the activity or to take them to dinner. This was truly a wow moment when we realized we were not going to have to worry.

My mother was in Spring Cypress Senior Living and then we were in hospice, before she passed away. They were wonderful in moving her in because we couldn’t move her in. They got her moved in, and as far as I knew, it was good. The staff was really good every time I spoke with them, or they got back to us through email. I think she was happy, but the food had to be delivered to her. The place was closer to us, and they included pet care with her current level of care.
